About Us
About Inspiration Hills: 60 Years of Christian Ministry in Ohio
Since 1966, Inspiration Hills Camp has served as a sanctuary for spiritual growth, outdoor education, and genuine community. Located on 200 acres of rolling hills and woodlands in Burbank, Ohio (Wayne County), we are dedicated to providing a place where guests of all ages can disconnect from the noise of the world and connect with God.
Our Mission: To provide a set-apart place in nature where people of all ages can grow in awareness of God and deepen their commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, so that in all aspects of Christian life we might continue the work of Jesus Christ, peacefully, simply, together.
As a non-profit Christian ministry, we partner with churches, families, and other organizations across Northern Ohio to nurture faith through our summer camps, retreats, and outdoor education programs. Whether you are hiking our trails, gathering around a campfire, or worshipping in our chapel, our goal remains the same: to help every guest go deeper in their faith and reach out in love.
A Legacy of Service: Now celebrating our 60th Anniversary, we continue to upgrade our facilities - including our lodges, dining hall, and activity centers - while staying true to our founding vision of Christ-centered hospitality.
A little bit about us...
Our ministry reaches beyond the doors of churches to include people and organizations seeking a place of solace to reconnect, recharge, and discover something new. We are open year round and provide accommodations for Outdoor Education, leadership retreats, school retreats, scrap-booking retreats, quilting retreats, conferences, corporate training, sports camps, special needs camps, camping for Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, weddings, birthday parties, youth events, and church retreats for many denominations. We are also a great site for engagement, graduation, and family photos!
If you are looking for a place to host your next event, Inspiration Hills offers a variety of multipurpose buildings and facilities that are available to groups of any size. Along with meeting space, and lodging, we offer scrumptious meals prepared by our own chef in Beechwood Dining Hall which can accommodate up to 200 guests.
Need some alone time? We have 200 acres of serenity where you can unplug and enjoy hiking trails, dense stands of hardwood trees, transitional forests, groves of pine trees, natural ponds, creeks, a small recreational lake, and deep ravines carved by nature in limestone shale.
If you would like to explore the potential of this natural setting for your next event please call our offices to make an appointment to tour the site by calling 419-846-3010.
Our Summer Camp History
Founded in 1966, Inspiration Hills started with a simple vision: to bring youth closer to Christ in nature. Over six decades, we have grown from a few rustic cabins to a premier retreat center, yet our heart remains the same.
